Sensatori Resorts from Thomson

Top class entertainment at the Sensatori. What more would you expect from a 5 star deluxe resort.

Hotel staff excellent, food in all six restaurants of a very high standard, but be prepared to wait if a large party of Americians are being served they throw the dollars around, and everybody else waits.

Hotel location is approx 3 miles from main road, no transport provided by hotel so the heat makes the walk out of the question.

Rooms have coffee making machines, but do not provide any facilites for tea, tried for five days to obtain tea & milk from room service but after many phone requests without responce gave up, again only interested in the Americian guests.

The brochure the resort is on the Bahia Petempich beach with Caribbean good looks, well if you are prepared to sit all day and watch a tractor cleaning the seaweed from the shore line, and willing to risk serious damage to your feet trying to walk over rocks which line the water for yards out into the sea, and again the sea weed this is not my picture of a Caribbean beach with good looks. If you travel to Cancun or Playa de Carmen, at very expensive costs you will then see a true Caribbean beach.

This Hotel is rated 5 stars but the location and the beach is, at best 2 stars after a flight time of 12 hours plus transfer you feel after two weeks you have spent your time in a very expensive prison.

Request Thomson to consider if the brochure gives the correct information with regard to the beach conditions.
